Diamond Star
BPM 37093 - a crystallised white dwarf in the constellation Centaurus is a diamond star which weighs 10 billion trillion trillion carats (approximately 1.1 times of the Sun's mass). This chunk of crystallised carbon is 4,000 km across and some 50 light-years from the Earth. It was named "Lucy" after the Beatles song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
