Cassini - Saturn ring crossing

Time-lapse movie of Saturn's rings as the Cassini spacecraft crosses the ring plane. The spacecraft makes this crossing twice per orbit. The spacecraft starts out on the sunlit side. This represents around 12 hours and so is sped up approximately 1000 times faster than real time.
